Sal (Salt) is a play written and produced by an independent theater company in Brazil. The story of two women from totally different backgrounds that find themselves stuck in a small boat on the ocean, brings to the surface discussions that we often find online: how to navigate life without dissolving into our own problems as a woman?
The two characters are trying to "sail away" from their problems, but together they start questioning if that's the best option.
My role was to create a visual identity to this play, translating the screenplay, but not explaining it too much.
So my goal was to bring the question of what destiny these two dots on the ocean would have: down to the bottom? To the unknown? Or would they get help from the waves and find an island together?
